Giordan Diaz is a Cuban American actor who was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Ever since he can remember he has always been drawn to the magic of movies and the arts. During his years in high school he became involved with television production, creating and performing in his own projects. He began to take classes locally and doing extra work on various spanish soap operas, film, and television productions. Giordan attended Barry University where he majored in Theatre and earned a Bachelors in Fine Arts (B.F.A.) with a Specialization in Acting. During his studies, he participated in over a dozen theatrical productions ranging from classical texts (Three Sisters, Twelfth Night) to more contemporary plays (The Rimers of Eldritch, Big Love). He also participated in various student and independent films, always working and perfecting his craft. Upon graduating, Giordan continued to work in South Florida's vibrant regional theatre and independent film scenes.
In 2014, Giordan packed a moving truck and moved to New York City with his two cats and hasn't looked back since. He shifted his focus from the theatre to on-camera work landing commercials for Einstein Healthcare, Western Union, NYC Department of Health, Talk it Out NC, and Epura Water with renown spanish recording artist, Thalia. Giordan also began to go further into voiceover work by setting up his own home studio, narrating two full length novels (Charlie Hernandez series) and lending his voice to over 30 audiobooks for publishers Penguin Random House, Dreamscape Media, Audible Studios, Scholastic Books, Recorded Books and Blackstone Publishing. He's performed roles on six independent feature films that have achieved distribution including HazMat, Fade Away, Obamaland, Investigation 13, Inner City Rats and The Subject.
