Isabella “Izzy” Tugman is a professional Voice-Over Artist, Actor, Singer, and Film Producer based out of Phoenix, AZ. She has also lived and worked in the Los Angeles, New York City, Austin, and Kansas City markets.
Izzy has a Bachelors Degree in Music from Thomas Edison State University. In addition, she is a graduate of a rigorous two-year college performing arts program from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy (AMDA) in Los Angeles. She also spent two years as a Vocal Performance major at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC), where she studied to be an opera singer.
Having spent a lifetime acting and singing on the stage, in front of the camera, and behind the microphone, a career in voice-over harmoniously blends her talents for voice, acting, story-telling, and language.
Izzy's speaking voice is like a diamond: Her lower register is husky – a diamond in the rough with grit and edge, while her higher range is polished, bright, and clear like a cut diamond. Either way you look at it, she's multi-faceted and shimmering! As a millennial with a love for sarcastic humor, Izzy jokes that she has “resting bitch voice” and enjoys playing sharp-witted characters. Don’t let her voice fool you, though. Izzy is a super-nice person with a passion for connecting with people, whether in person or through her performances.
Isabella is most often cast to narrate YA and Romance Novels, and she excels in playing strong and snarky heroines. Being an empath, she loves diving deep into the vulnerable sides of her characters. Izzy's dream project would be to narrate a Blockbuster Post-Apocalyptic Young Adult series. Book genres she never seems to get enough of (and loves to narrate!) include Sci-Fi and Fantasy for their epic world-building and imagination, Thrillers for the suspense that keep readers glued to the story, YA for the beautiful journey of growth and connection we experience as we come of age, and Self-Help for unlocking our true potential to live our best lives.
